  1. In Woods Runner by Gary Paulsen. I mas introduced to Samuel who is very brave and adventures. To began with, Samuel lives with hi family out in the middle of now were. Also Samuel goes hunting a lot to get food. One day Samuel was hunting while his parents were at the cabin, he heard gun shots so he went back to his cabin and he saw dead people but he could not find his parents. Although he went to go look for them, he saw footprints of feet he new he was getting closer and closer. I wonder if he is going to find his parents or is he not going to find his parents. I think this stories purpose is to entertain and maybe to inform a little.

On a hot summer day, Geronimo was in his office complaining about the heat and his broken air conditioner. Next, Geronimo went home to take a ice bath. While he was bathing, his friend Petunia came over and rushed Geronimo to get ready for scuba lessons at Shell lsIand. They quickly got in Petunia's car and picked up Bugsy Wugsy, Benjamin, and Aunt Sweetfur. After that, they drove to the airport and flew to Shell lsland. They landed on the South Mousific Ocean which scared Geronimo. Soon after they landed, they went scuba diving and Geronimo saw a giant blue oyster under water. 10. I'm reading Treaties,Trenches,Mud,and Blood by Nathan Hale. In the beginning a spy named Nathan Hale or Capt. Hale was caught spying on Germany so his penalty was to get hanged by the neck. That day the gallows turned into a huge history book and ate Capt. Hale and later the history book spit him out. Hangman wanted Capt. Hale to tell a story and Capt. Hale decided to tell them about World War One. Hangman got confused and scared so he wanted a more friendly version of the story using animals to represent each country, for example the Kingdom of Serbia is represented by a wolf. I think the author purpose was to to inform you about World War One in a funny way.

  18. I am reading the The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Road Trip by Jeff Kinney.

The purpose of the author is to let you know what is going on with Greg and his family during his road trip. In this part of the book, Greg and his family went to a very bad motel where they removed all the sheets and blankets from the bed because they were dirty. Besides, the wallpaper in their room was ripped in holes.

Anyway Greg and Rodrick decided to go to the pool but it was empty. And at the end of the day, when Greg heard a big loud noise, he discovered what the Beardo kids did. Greg was really upset. Miguel
